Email – Communication is very important in a vibrant, dynamic club such as Livingston Players.

Not many amateur dramatic groups have an all year round performance schedule such as we have so it is important that we ‘keep you in the loop’. Email is the easiest and most cost effective way to do this, so please ensure your email address is registered and you advise us when you change it by contacting the President at

    On Foot
    10 minute walk from Livingston Shopping Centre and bus terminal. Head along Almondvale Boulevard following the pedestrian signs for the Civic Centre. Walking past the entrance to the Civic Centre use the pedestrian crossing on Howden South Road, follow the path ahead through Howden Park to the Centre.

    By Bus
    Howden Park Centre is well served by buses it is a 10 minute walk from the bus terminal at Livingston Shopping Centre. The closest bus stops are on Howden East and at the entrance to St John’s Hospital, with both a 2 minute walk away. The First Bus services from Livingston terminal to St John’s Hospital are: 6, 8, 8A,12,16, 27, 28

    Edinburgh Waverley – Livingston North
    Journey time: 23 mins (25min walk to Howden Park Centre)

    Glasgow Central – Livingston South
    Journey time: 1 hour (45min walk to Howden Park Centre)

    By Taxi
    There are not many taxis available at taxi ranks outwith the town centre and it may not be easy to “wave down” a taxi in the street. However, you can pre-book a taxi or private hire car. We suggest putting a Livingston taxi number in your mobile and telephoning from the train.

    From Edinburgh: M8, come off at Livingston (j3). Slip road to dual carriageway (A899).
    From Glasgow: M8, come off at Livingston (j3). 1st exit off roundabout onto the dual carriageway (A899)

    Dual Carriageway to Howden Park Centre
    A899 towards town centre exit Almondvale junction – exit marked Craigsfarm South (brown HPC tourist sign). At the bottom of the slip get into the right hand lane, take the 2nd exit from the roundabout. Left hand lane at the lights and follow the brown HPC sign. Through the roundabout to the next one (Civic Centre on your left) and take 3rd exit. Turn left at the next Howden Park Centre sign (into Toronto Avenue). Left into Howden Park. Follow the road to the end.
